The face behind the camera
I’m Ana, and I’ve been photographing people for as long as I can remember. It began with the ones closest to me: friends, family, whoever was around, at their most genuine, when nobody was thinking about the camera. Nobody ever asked for those photos, and they’re the ones everyone kept.
I studied international marketing and hospitality, which mostly taught me how to make people feel at ease. Photography ran alongside all of it, and eventually stopped being the thing on the side.
The moments I’m after are rarely the ones anyone plans for: the look between two sentences, the way someone holds themselves when they’ve forgotten to perform. So my job on the day is mostly to make you comfortable enough to forget I’m there. I’ll guide you when you need it, and leave you alone when you don’t.
I’m based in The Hague and shoot couples, families, and individuals on location.
Ons is Dutch for ours. As in our family, our life, our thing. It’s what I started with, and still what I like photographing the most.
Natural light
I chase soft, glowing light, whether that’s a sun-drenched home or a field at golden hour.
Real connection
No stiff poses. I guide you into moments that feel genuine, then capture what unfolds naturally.
Editorial warmth
Every gallery is edited with a warm, film-inspired palette that feels timeless, not trendy.
